Social behaviour, environment and economic framework are the three are the fundamental factors of equilibrium to support the development of co-modal transport: the capability of arranging transports by different means without handling goods and through sustainable techniques of transportation
An insight of the European Union constant growth rate of transports up to 2008, analysed by the different transport modes as well as the trade networks and flows between production/distribution markets affecting the traffic routes of trades, are some of the items discussed
Further, the need of a short-run pragmatic policy to support the development of a rail transport system to serve Central and South of Italy involving the new and efficient infrastructure of Interporto Abruzzo freight village
These are the main items of discussion brought on the table of the seminar titled:
‘Eco-sustainable transport systems and compliant infrastructures” promoted by Interporto d’Abruzzo, on Sat.12thDec. at the “Knowledge Fair” event. The key elements to reach an efficient and environment-sustainable logistics were illustrated at the fair event

Seaports and dryports are wished by all to be the leading partners in the building process of a logistic network where the flows of goods and the infrastructures are efficiently managed as a result of a general optimization project.
«The location of the seminar was carefully planned ” stated Mr.Mosè Renzi, Val Pescara SpA General Manager “given the Knowledge Fair event, we could not found a better place to promote a new culture of social awareness involving also the transport policies
