In the aftermath of the Regional elections of last week end, President Pesaresi makes his point.
Let’s wish that Mr.Spacca’s second mandate as Governor of Marche region and the new Board of Councillors will soon start working on the top priority issues including the infrastructure investment plan and the multi-modal transport development policy.
We hope to be called up for a briefing to urge the making a specific legislation to support the multimodal transport operators working to reduce the road traffic and to increase the rail freight transport. A clear example of the politics’ contribution is given by the Emilia Romagna regional Parliament approval.
The open ceremony of Jesi container terminal area, held on 21stNov.2010, was a milestone event marked by the railway link to the main Orte-Falconara line, the joint agreement signed by Interporto Marche, FS Logistica (a company of Ferrovie dello Stato group) and the Ancona Sea-port Authority. The common aim was the increase of the competitiveness level of the sea-port and dry-bulk port integrated transport system as well as the logistic platform of Central Italy for the economic growth of the macro geographic area of Marche, Umbria and Lazio regions
This new development perspective needs a strong and swift political support to overcome the gap between the business and the political tables. The business community is long awaiting for the pending answers.Much is still to be done and we strongly believe that we can reach great results with the support of the Vallesina-elected Councillors
