JESI – A day to remember for the Honorary Consulate of the Russian Federation in Ancona: in the morning at Zipa headquarters, a business meeting was held between local companies and the commercial representatives of the Russian Federation in Italy
Among the guests, Mr. Massimo Bianconi, Banca Marche General Director was very pleased with the outcome of the event since Marche region companies were in the spotlight of the commercial representatives of the Russian Federation, chaired by Mr.Leonid Popov, Vice President.Of great interest were the business experiences of top companies like Indesit Company, I Guzzini Illuminazione, Pelcuir –a St.Petersburg based company (established in Russia since longtime) that underline the great potentials offered by the Russian market despite a few problematic issues to be understood and overcome with, such as the customs operations.
However, a great hand is given by the signature of the agreement made between Interporto Marche Spa and the Italian Customs Agency to provide Jesi Freight village with a comprehensive in-house customs service relating to imported and exported goods and services on transit by rail freight or lorry cargo. The Customs Agency has a dedicated in-house bureau charged with the responsibility of overseeing and enforcing governmental laws and the handling of all processes and procedures thanks to a number of offices, a warehouse and a specific parking lot reserved to the customs department operations.
Great attention was paid to the key role played by human resources recruitment services and professional training programmes of Russian personnel in Italy besides the involvement of universities in order to further develop the trade relations between Italy and Russia
In the afternoon, the opening ceremony of the new Russian Federation Honorary Consulate office got the blessing of Jesi Archbishop, Mr.Gerardo Rocconi at Interporto Marche headquarters Via Coppetella 4 di Jesi (2nd floor). Many authorities attended the event, Mr.Roberto Pesaresi, President of Interporto Marche Spa gave a warm welcome.The Marche region is the forth ranking Italian region for business trade relations with Russia and is the top ranking region for shoe-manufacturing trade volumes.
