The UIR Association shows at SIL 2010 event.
30/04/2010: UIR – Unione Interporti Riuniti will attend the 2010 edition of SIL, the International logistics exhibition fair with a dedicated booth. As always, the appointment is in Barcelona, Spain, from 25th to 28th May. UIR Association booth is located within the Italia pavilion with a specific area focused on the promotion of the multi-modal transport system with the collaboration of ASSOPORTI organization
The target of its presence is to promote the Italian freight villages network, a flagship excellence for the Italian economy and a point of reference for Europe. A top priority issue is to look for new collaboration and partnership opportunities with Mediterranean counterparts in order to further enhance the freight villages socio-economic position within the Italian logistics sector
This year UIR shows at SIL fair together with ASSOPORTI with the common aim to promote the “sea and inland” cluster approach to the transport activities, where a strong and sound co-operation between dry ports and sea ports is the key feature for business success
Therefore, it is UIR Association key mission to build new synergies in order to link the Italian logistic system (sea ports and dry ports) with other Mediterranean counterparts. Given this, its presence at the Barcelona SIL event unfolds an even greater meaning being Spain and Italy the two countries in the heart of the Mediterranean sea.UNIONE INTERPORTI RIUNITI
